The location was stunning - within short walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. It was about 10 km from the airport. The staffs were EXCEPTIONALLY NICE & exceptional.

The rooms with a fantastic bathroom, nice decoration, as example were stunning. Marvellous location just next door to coming areas, downtown and restaurants and shopping, I felt safe.

Fine rooftop views.
I was really disappointed that they don't offer any massage services. It reminded me of a massive oversight for a hotel that claims to be luxurious. Plus, the neighborhood was not walkable at all, made exploring a hassle.

The breakfast here was great with stupendous 360-degree view and with the nice breeze, for example. The hotel's location was central, in the middle of beirut close to everything.
Their staff were not very friendly.

It has good location to see Saint Maron Church. Would stay again in this fairly nice area.

The ambiance of the hotel was fine, with so many
Charming details. The staff was cute, but the bathroom needed some maintenance as the drainage was slow and there were a few broken fixtures.

Great location, beautiful building, nice antique furniture in the room/entire hotel, spacious room, spacious bathroom with a great "rain" shower head, very nice staff, very nice welcome with a tray of fresh fruit, cake, turkish delight and rose water lemonade, good restaurant on premises/proximity to quite a few good restaurants, very nice roof terrace, cozy lounge/bar area that looks like someone's old library, always available clean and efficient taxis.
A construction going up right behind the hotel, it will take a long time to get completed by the looks/size of the foundation - noise from 7:30 am to about 7:00 - 7:30 pm, if you get a room facing it, or want to use the terrace during the day. That being said, the whole city is under construction... Rather spotty internet service in the room and lobby, but the staff kindly offered the use of their computers. The maintenance could be a bit better - there is a fine line between bohemian/vintage and in need of some upkeep.

My wife and I are very frequent travellers, for both business and pleasure, to many destinations around the world and few if any other hotels have the "vital ingredients' that we so much enjoyed at Albergo Hotel. Of course "position, price and service" are the usual benchmarks for hotel assessments but the Albergo also had some other quintessential elements like ambience, style and class. Elements that many of the so called chain groups either do not understand or have forsaken in this age of "one size-fits-all". Added to this, the food was first class, the presentation exemplary and the staff were particularly accommodating. Very impressive !
The worst thing about the hotel...was leaving.

Albergo's dining scene is a delight! The chef whipped up delicious desserts, exceeding all expectations. Plus, the vibe is straight out of a Wes Anderson film, blending European charm with Middle Eastern warmth. The staff's friendliness just seals the deal!
Now, while they don't offer massage services, the overall experience still feels luxurious and relaxing. A minor hiccup in an otherwise flawless stay!

Albergo is a stylish hotel with a beautifully renovated interior that feels both european and middle eastern. My standard suite was excellent, and the staff were friendly. The gym on the 11th floor was well-equipped and perfect for my stay.
